Card games that start with X

X has only a handful of genuine card games: X Nimmt!, the trick-taking Xactika, the Greek fishing game Xeri, the Kurdish Pinochle relative Xoşkîn, and the deck-builder Xenon Profiteer. We keep the list literal rather than stretching it with loose matches.

Editorial notes

What the X list includes—and what it doesn’t.

Why not include more X games?

Many “X” lists rely on number titles or games that are not really card games. We keep the list literal so it stays useful.

Are board games with cards included?

Only when cards carry the central play. A board game that merely uses event cards is not automatically treated as a card game.

Is the list complete?

It is deliberately curated, not a claim to every historical or regional title. We add games when the basic facts and a useful source can be checked.
